The hat bill artwork highlights the ship’s instruments: with air/light speed and three-dimensional vertical horizon gauges on the right and an altimeter and heading indicator on the left. The band shows the Avimimus insignia with right and left wings artistically decorated. The bottom of the bill depicts a section of the dashboard, including: temperature and oil-status gauges, communication frequencies, missile launch indicators, and an ejection seat warning label.
